Momentary Lily begins in a world devastated by mechanical invaders known as the Wild Hunt. Renge wanders an abandoned city without memories of her past, carrying a remarkable power capable of resisting the machines. When she meets five other girls with the same ability, isolation gives way to friendship, shared meals and moments of play, even as the danger around them remains constant.

Their days alternate between ordinary pleasures and battles in which separation and loss are never far away. Encounters with the few surviving humans and their families raise new questions, drawing the girls towards the mystery of the invaders and the origins of their own powers. GoHands creates and animates the series, with Shingo Suzuki serving as chief director and character designer and Susumu Kudo and Katsumasa Yokomine directing.

Volume 1 contains episodes 1-3, approximately 90 minutes of the main programme. Around 15 minutes of supplementary material includes the first extra cast cooking-challenge segment and the first illustrated original voice drama, incorporating Blu-ray-exclusive content. The packaging features a GoHands-drawn slipcase showing Yuri in her uniform and a disc-case illustration of Yuri in loungewear.
