Kazumi Araiwa is a hard-working office employee in Hakata, a city renowned for its food. But something matters to him more than work: his family. Amid his exceptionally busy schedule, Araiwa makes time to cook for them. He loves cooking, and he loves the smiles on his family's faces as they eat even more. Their smiles of delicious satisfaction are what give him energy. With his wife Nijiko, his elder son Makoto and his daughter Miyuki at the heart of this family of four, Araiwa puts his skills to work again today, both as a family man and, at times, as a company man!
