I Want to Die Alone

Morning KC I Want to Die Alone Vol. 2 is an official Japanese paper manga volume by Kaoru Curry Zawa, Misaki Donnelly, published by Kodansha under the Morning KC label.

Her aunt, who was supposed to be enjoying a carefree retirement, unexpectedly dies alone. The life of Narumi Yamaguchi, a single, 35-year-old museum curator, takes a sharp turn from searching for a husband to planning for the end of her life. To die better, she must live better. Aiming to be the ultimate, undisputed champion, she races headlong toward Yomi, the land of the dead. After nearly falling into the clutches of a former classmate and self-styled life planner, Narumi painfully confronts the vulnerabilities of being a woman and growing older. Visiting her aunt's grave, she throws herself into unavoidable questions: how to deal with Buddhist temples, what to do about a grave, and much more. The number-one manga that will not let you forget reality, but forces you to face it! Life is not so frightening if we live it together! Meow-while, this startling series, which began in Kodansha's Monthly Morning Two, has moved to Kodansha's Comic DAYS, where the screaming continues. Author interviews and other related articles appeared in Kodansha's FRIDAY Digital and FRaU, Fusosha's SPA! Online, Sankei Shimbun, Rakuten Securities' Toushiru and other outlets, as of the end of 2020.

This Japanese paper edition contains 192 pages and was released in Japan on January 21, 2021.
