Murasaki pairs voice actress Chisaki Kimura, known for Daiwa Scarlet in Uma Musume: Pretty Derby and guest vocal performances, with composer Ramseeni, whose work crosses genres with artists including ZUTOMAYO and 703goshitsu. Osaki Makkura is the duo's second mini album and first release with nationwide distribution.
Previously released singles Mozo Seikatsu and Kimi ga Kirai join six songs in total. Ippan Pipopipo draws on an addictive melody and rhythm, while the slow ballad Itsuka Sayonara no Tame no Uta reveals another side of the unit. Tada, Hai ni Mamireru opens the CD, which closes with the album version of Mozo Seikatsu.
