My Brother, the Alien Deluxe Edition Blu-ray and DVD

He has impersonated a family member for twenty-three years. There are just three days left before he leaves Earth. An alien comedy about the struggles of a man who wanted to become part of a family.

He has been passing himself off as the second son among the Sanada family’s four siblings. But now he must leave Earth. A farewell unlike anything anyone has seen in cinema awaits.

For twenty-three years, an alien who came from Saturn to investigate human life has lived as Hideo, the second son of the four Sanada siblings. The eldest, Yumeji, acts as a parent to the others and has no romantic life. Their sister Sono cannot leave her abusive boyfriend, while the youngest son Shimon faces revenge from a former high-school classmate.

The siblings argue, but they also help one another. Hideo does not understand what a family is, so Yumeji teaches him. “Big brother, what is a family?” “It means having something more important to you than yourself.”

They eat together and work together every day. Amid their busy lives, the day Hideo must leave Earth draws nearer. He has just three days left. His struggle to finish the things he has left undone as a human being begins now.
