MY (K)NIGHT Blu-ray

Three lonely men and three lonely women cross paths over a single night in Yokohama. MY (K)NIGHT stars THE RAMPAGE’s vocalists Kazuma Kawamura, RIKU and Hokuto Yoshino as men who work in the night world while carrying emotional wounds and unresolved feelings of their own. Planned and produced by EXILE HIRO, the film is written and directed by Ryutaro Nakagawa, the filmmaker behind Summer Blooms, and was invited to the Gala Selection of the 36th Tokyo International Film Festival.

Setsuna, Ichiya and Toki are dating therapists: lovers for one night who offer women comfort through the MY KNIGHT service. After discovering her husband’s affair, Satoko tries to fill the emptiness in her life by going on a date with Toki. Akari, a high school teacher whose mother has little time left, asks Setsuna to pretend to be her fiancé so she can introduce him to her mother. Meanwhile, popular Instagrammer miyupo, with seventy thousand followers, takes Ichiya around well-known restaurants in Chinatown, posting photographs of the food and herself.

Each woman seeks relief from her own worries, while the men who accompany them have troubles of their own. Their encounters unfold into a drama about six solitary people sharing one night in the city. This release includes advance special-screening and premium-event footage, together with a making-of featurette.
