NAOTO's debut album Sanctuary returns in a remastered Blu-spec CD2 edition marking his twentieth anniversary. His genre-crossing approach, spanning classical music and pop, and his brilliant performances have made the violinist a distinctive musical presence.
For the television drama Nodame Cantabile, he helped select the orchestra, supplied instrumental performances and compositions, and appeared as a guest actor, bringing his work to a wider audience. He made his major-label debut through EPIC Records Japan in 2005. His out-of-print first and second albums, Sanctuary and Blue 'G', have been remastered and released separately on Blu-spec CD2; this is the Sanctuary edition.
