Narenare -Cheer for You!- Animation

Where does the desire to cheer someone on come from? DMM.com and P.A.WORKS present Narenare -Cheer for You!-, an original anime about six high-school girls in Gunma whose encouragement might change the world, if only a little.

Takanosaki High School is a prestigious cheerleading powerhouse aiming to defend its national title. Kanata Misora, a former national junior-high champion who earned a place on its A team as a first-year student, loses the ability to fly after a mistake during a competition. One day, she sees Suzuha Obunai leaping between buildings alongside a moving train, a high-school girl with extraordinary parkour skills.

Joining Kanata and Suzuha are Shion, a refined rhythmic gymnast; Anna, who has returned from Brazil; Anna’s classmate Nodoka, whose interests include yoga philosophy; and Megumi, Kanata’s former teammate who uses a wheelchair. Their interests, abilities and personalities could hardly be more different. They sing, clash, perform stunts and let their imaginations wander. When their sincere desire to support others comes together, PoMPoMs reaches people’s hearts beyond the boundaries of cheerleading.

Volume three includes episodes nine to twelve and the newly recorded voice-drama CD PoMPoMs After, telling an exclusive story featuring all six PoMPoMs members. The sleeve features new artwork by original character designer Tomomi Takada; placing the jackets of all three volumes together completes an illustration of the six girls. A special character-signature card, the third insert-song music clip and the third promotional-video collection are also included.
