“You have been selected as a test player for the new VR game Kadath!” Struggling streamer Miko Kurono is desperate for a breakthrough. Popular streamers have recently begun losing consciousness during live broadcasts in a series of unexplained incidents. Her own streaming partner has been hospitalized, and her view counts are going nowhere. When an invitation to a new VR game arrives, it seems like a chance to change the present—until it reveals itself as a deadly game devised by Cthulhu and other gods plotting humanity’s extinction. With their own motives at stake, can Miko and the other players survive a battle they cannot escape? The terrifying cosmic horror show begins.

This second volume contains episodes 5–8. A three-sided box newly illustrated by original character designer Jiro Suzuki accompanies a digipak and four of Suzuki’s sketch cards. The special booklet explores the world more deeply through a newly written novel by story creator and series composer Makoto Uezu, a special Cthulhu Mythos column, staff and cast interviews, and introductions to each episode.

Episode 6 includes a staff commentary featuring the director, story creator and series composer, sound director and a Cygames representative. Episode 7 features a cast commentary with Reiji Kawashima, Atsushi Tamaru and Ayasa Ito. A promotional-video collection and web previews for episodes 5–8 complete the bonus footage.
