Neighbor X The Suspicious Woman Special Edition Blu-ray

Juri Ueno and Kento Hayashi appear together for the first time in Neighbor X: The Suspicious Woman, an unusual mystery romance with an unpredictable ending, now on Blu-ray and DVD.

“Do you know the true form of the person you love?”

The world is full of planetary refugees known as X, forced from their homelands by conflict, and countries struggle to decide how to respond. Following the United States, which was quick to announce that it would accept them, Japan also decides to admit these refugees. The X copy human appearances perfectly and blend into everyday life, and nobody knows where they live. Who are the X, and what do they want? Unspeakable anxiety and unrest spread through society as everyone desperately tries to find the X who might be living next door.

Weekly-magazine reporter Kentaro Sasa begins following Yoshiko Kashiwagi, a woman suspected of being an X. Hoping for a scoop, Sasa hides his identity and gradually approaches her. They grow closer, and real love eventually takes root in him, but he cannot shake the suspicion that Yoshiko may be an X.

Is Yoshiko really an X? Torn between his feelings for her, his guilt at being unable to reveal the truth and his pride as a reporter, what truth does Sasa finally discover? Their relationship, riddled with lies and mysteries, takes an unexpected turn…
