NG Knight Lamune & 40 Full Complete Blu-ray

This three-disc edition brings together the animated adventures of NG Knight Lamune & 40, the spirited robot series that began in 1990 and expanded into OVAs, novels and radio dramas. It contains all 38 television episodes, all three episodes of EX, all three episodes of DX and four television compilation films, alongside the 2020 anniversary productions Nekketsu!! Yuusha Lamuness: NG Knight Trilogy and Otoko to Onna wa Papipupepo 2020.

The television series follows fourth-grader Lamune Baba, whose victory in a video game draws him into Hara-Hara World as the chosen hero Lamuness. With the guardian knight King Squasher, he confronts Don Harumage's plan to revive Goburiki. EX returns to Lamune three years later, when Milk arrives with a new danger, while DX sends Lamune and Da Cider on a reckless rescue journey. The anniversary films also revisit material from the EX2 radio drama and XX novels.

The original series is presented in high-bitrate SD at 480i, not as a new high-definition remaster. The main-disc content matches the 2020 Series Complete BD-BOX, and the bonus videos match its Forty Thousand Edition. Japanese stereo audio uses Dolby Digital on discs one and two and Linear PCM on disc three; no subtitles are included.
