Ninjin Kakumei brings together more than 160 illustrations by Kinako, combining an artwork collection with a close look at drawing techniques. Sixty pages collect the Bunny Boys series, which began in 2018, in its entirety at the time of publication. Newly drawn cover and opening artwork accompany the original illustrations, followed by a selection of recent licensed work.
Four making-of studies examine individual Bunny Boys illustrations. Three follow the progression from rough drawing through line work and coloring, while the fourth explores a Chinese-style red bunny design and a chibi bunny figure. An interview discusses the series and Kinako's creative process, and commentary provides context for the collected artwork.
