DUSK INDEX: GION
A century after a series of unsolved murders shook Meiji-era Kyoto, detective Daiki Katsuki investigates disturbingly similar killings in a technologically advanced city. He teams up with brilliant young engineer Rio Quinn, whose immersive AR experience Echoes of Kyoto reconstructs the historic streets. As they uncover the truth, the boundary between that recreated past and present reality begins to collapse.
Follow two partnerships across two eras in this mystery visual novel from the creators of Tokyo Dark. Traditional Kyoto and its transformed modern counterpart frame a layered story that combines historical investigation with science fiction. Fully voiced main characters bring the human drama to life as the investigators question whether a copycat is at work—or whether the past itself is changing the future.
