Senri no Kifu KEMCO

Investigate a champion’s disappearance in the modern shogi world. Journalist Ayumi and aspiring professional Nagano become entangled in mysteries involving artificial intelligence, a legendary unrecorded match and players who abandon their careers. Search crime scenes, connect clues and uncover the motives of a cast that includes real professional players.

No shogi knowledge is needed: explanations, a glossary, lessons and mating puzzles introduce the game as the story unfolds. This is a mystery adventure rather than a simulator for playing full shogi matches.

The official comparison image shows the Nintendo Switch edition on the right; the PlayStation 4 edition on the left is not included.
