Novelbright's PYRAMID is the band's fourth major-label album, arriving roughly two years after CIRCUS. Its title expresses the idea of something unpredictable and loved around the world across generations, together with the astonishment of wondering who could have created such a thing.
The album brings together Everywhere I Go, a collaboration with Korean artist Eric Nam; Ivy, written to celebrate the marriage of Miyu Ikeda and Shimon Okura; Winding Road, the theme to the Mone Kamishiraishi-starring drama Hotei no Dragon; Canopus, based on vocalist Yudai Takenaka's own experiences; Call me, the theme to the animation Ashita no Arika; and Anemone. Seven newly recorded songs join these six releases for a thirteen-track album.
Conceived as an essential listen for established fans and those discovering Novelbright for the first time, PYRAMID also includes Tomei, the opening theme to The Ramparts of Ice.
