Qruppo's debut visual novel NUKITASHI returns in soundtrack form on two LPs. Set on the outrageous island of Seiran, the story follows a young man and his companions as they resist the world around them, mixing justice and wrongdoing, pure affection and desire, tenderness and dramatic intensity.

Its confrontational humour, parody and homage sit alongside the worries of individuals and society, recalling the distinctive appeal of a PC visual novel. The music takes a different approach: much of the background score is stylish, jazz-influenced lo-fi, designed to support conversations and heighten the story without overwhelming it.

Alongside that instrumental programme, the release includes vocal material such as Hijitsuzai-kei Joshitachi wa Dou Surya Ii desu ka? The result is a soundtrack that can also be enjoyed as a late-night listening record in its own right.
