Once Upon a Witch's Death Vol. 3 follows apprentice witch Meg Raspberry as she seeks a way to escape the curse that will end her life. On her seventeenth birthday, her mentor Faust, the Eternal Witch and one of the Seven Sages, tells her she has just one year left. Her only hope is to create a seed of life from the tears of joy of a thousand people.

Collecting those tears draws Meg into other people's lives, deepening her bonds with her childhood friend Fine, the Witch of Wisdom Inori and the gifted young Sophie. Encounters, farewells and promises gradually teach her what truly matters as a witch. This volume contains episodes 9-12 on one Blu-ray.

Yoshino Aoyama voices Meg, with Yoshiko Sakakibara as Faust, Hina Yomiya as Sophie, Rumi Okubo as Fine, Shizuka Ito as Inori, Atsumi Tanezaki as the mysterious girl and Yoko Hikasa as Eldora. The recorded supplements include cast audio commentary, the full mentor-and-apprentice conversation featuring Aoyama and Sakakibara, and promotional videos and commercials. The main episodes run approximately 94 minutes. Japanese Linear PCM audio is provided, with some supplementary footage in mono; there are no subtitles.
