The third volume of One Piece’s high-capacity Eternal Log Blu-ray collection finally takes the adventure to the sky island. A collection to keep, Skypiea brings together all eighty-five episodes from 144 to 228: Noland and Kalgara’s story, the fierce battles with the self-proclaimed god Enel, the escape from Navarone and the clash with the Foxy Pirates.

Are islands in the sky the ultimate romantic adventure? When a ship falls from above, Luffy obtains a map of a sky island. Unsure how to reach it, the Straw Hats first land on nearby Jaya. Following the legend leads them to the adventurer Mont Blanc Cricket, whose help allows the Merry to take flight. At last they reach Skypiea, where the native Shandians and Enel appear and an all-out confrontation begins.

Enel engineers a three-way survival battle and then eliminates its survivors himself. Launching the newly completed Ark Maxim, he begins attacking all of Skypiea. A recovered Luffy catches up with him on the ark’s deck for the final showdown. Repeatedly pushed into danger, Luffy finally defeats Enel and rings the Golden Bell, its sound reaching from the sky island down to the world below as Enel’s ambitions fall.

After the sky-island battle, Luffy and his friends return towards the sea. Skypiea’s octopus balloon wraps around the falling Going Merry and gently lowers it, only for the ship to land in the middle of Navarone, the naval fortress belonging to the Navy’s Eighth Branch. The Straw Hats attempt to escape this supposedly impregnable stronghold in a battle of wits against Commander Jonathan.

Sailing the Grand Line, the crew next reaches the grasslands of Long Ring Long Land. The Foxy Pirates challenge them to a Davy Back Fight, and Luffy falls for Foxy’s invitation. Through contests including Groggy Ring and Combat, the Straw Hats are tossed about by their opponent before regrouping, winning the final battle and departing with the rival crew’s pirate flag.

The collection includes a newly illustrated original sleeve and an explanatory booklet. Magical Lovely’s Skypiea lesson provides an additional introduction to the arc.
