One Piece Stage & Musicals

One Piece and figure skating combine for a grand adventure on ice. The long-awaited return engagement of One Piece on Ice: Episode of Alabasta comes to Blu-ray.

The Alabasta arc, a favourite with fans, was adapted for television in 2001 and 2002. The desert kingdom of Alabasta stands on the brink of collapse because of a conspiracy by the mysterious organisation Baroque Works. Princess Vivi and the Straw Hat crew led by Luffy rise to save the country.

This sweeping story is brought to life through spectacular ensemble-skating battle scenes, projection mapping and lighting effects. The great adventure in a desert land opens once again on the ice.

The supplements include footage presenting the performance from six angles; the viewing angle cannot be switched during playback. Making of One Piece on Ice brings together backstage footage and interviews covering two years, while Another One Piece on Ice explores the surprise of skaters taking on different roles. A booklet is included.
