One Piece Animation

Celebrating the One Piece anime’s twentieth anniversary, the adventure enters Wano Country: a mysterious, isolated nation where samurai walk the streets and ninjas work in the shadows. Luffy and his companions arrive in the land ruled by Kaido, one of the Four Emperors, to reunite with their friends. What great adventure awaits them?

Heading towards Kaido’s stronghold on Onigashima, Luffy and Kid race ahead aboard the Sunny and the Victoria Punk. Law’s Polar Tang dives towards the island’s rear entrance with Raizo and the others on board. The vast island of Onigashima spreads out before Luffy’s party. “We have no need for ships to take us home!” This volume includes episodes 983 through 986, World Navi 59 and design materials. First-press copies include an original sticker while supplies last; later copies do not include it.

Eiichiro Oda’s manga quickly gained popularity after beginning in Weekly Shonen Jump in 1997, followed by the television anime in 1999. The long-running series passed nine hundred episodes in 2018. Numerous films followed; at the time, the thirteenth film, One Piece Film Gold, was promoted as achieving Toei’s second-highest box-office result. Games, other media adaptations, merchandise and a continuing stream of events have accompanied the series, creating successive waves of enthusiasm as it continues to grow as a leading youth adventure franchise.
