The Wano Country story reaches its climax in this One Piece Blu-ray release. Eiichiro Oda’s hit Shonen Jump manga quickly found a devoted following after serialization began in 1997 and became a television anime in 1999. Since then, it has grown into a long-running favorite with numerous theatrical films, including One Piece Film Red, which passed ¥20.3 billion at the Japanese box office. Games, other media adaptations, merchandise and events have kept the world of One Piece expanding into a major force in youth entertainment.

Luffy and his companions travel in pursuit of his dream of becoming King of the Pirates. Wano is a mysterious, isolated land where samurai stride through the streets and ninja move in secret. Luffy’s crew arrives to reunite with their friends in a country ruled by Emperor Kaido, setting the stage for another great adventure. In the included Barto’s Secret Room recap, Tama recounts to Bartolomeo the extraordinary battle in which Gear Five Luffy overwhelmed Kaido. Luffy is fighting at his peak when he suddenly shrivels into an exhausted old man, but he raises his heartbeat back to the rhythm of the Drums of Liberation and charges forward in Gear Five once again.
