One Room Angel Blu-ray BOX

An unforgettable tearjerker weaves the darkness and light of life into the strange shared life of a rough-edged man and an angel.

No hobbies, no friends, no lover and no reason to live: convenience-store worker Kouki, played by Shuhei Uesugi, drifts through each day. After a thug stabs him and leaves him near death, his fading consciousness sees a beautiful angel with pure white wings, played by Takuya Nishimura. He thinks the angel has come to take him away, but instead makes a full recovery. When he returns home, that same angel is there.

Although bewildered by the angel's insolent attitude, Kouki takes pity on him because he has no memories and cannot fly, and lets him stay for a while. Their strange life together begins without warning. As the days pass with the angel, an emotion starts to grow in the heart of Kouki, who had been living as though already dead.

Disc 1 contains episodes 1–3 and disc 2 episodes 4–6. The third disc provides bonus footage: visual commentary for episode 1, making-of footage, event footage, trailers and the full-length adaptation of the original manga's newly drawn supplementary story that could not fit into the main drama. The cast also features Koki Tanaka, Oideyasu Oda and Kyoko Hasegawa. Designs may change.

The region-free three-disc Blu-ray box contains 144 minutes of the main drama with Japanese Linear PCM 2-channel audio and no subtitles, and includes a booklet.
