Onmyo Kaiten Re:Birth Verse Blu-ray Box

“I’ll save you—whatever world I’m in, however many times I die!” david production, the studio behind hits including JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure and Fire Force, presents its first original television anime. A delinquent tears through time and another world in an unusual onmyoji battle adventure, with a distinctive cast of characters shaping its unfolding drama.

High-school delinquent Takeru Narihira spends his days fighting alone, refusing to associate with anyone, while his feelings grow for Tsukimiya, a mysterious girl who repeatedly appears in his dreams. One day, an accident sends him falling from a cliff. When he regains consciousness, he finds himself in Denji Heian-kyo, a technologically advanced version of the ancient capital. It is another world protected by the strongest onmyoji, Abe no Seimei—and Tsukimiya really exists there.

Takeru is overjoyed at the fateful encounter he has dreamed of, but black mist called Yamikaoru suddenly appears. Monsters known as Oni kill both him and Tsukimiya within it. In the next instant, Takeru wakes once more in Denji Heian-kyo. Realizing that he has travelled back through time, he decides to learn the onmyo arts from Abe no Seimei and fight as an onmyoji to resist the future in which Tsukimiya dies.

Bonus footage includes the talk from the June 28 advance online screening, a visual commentary featuring Taihi Kimura, Maaya Uchida, Ryohei Kimura and Kaito Ishikawa, the creditless opening and ending, and a collection of promotional videos.
