Origin of Valkyrie Macross VF-1J Valkyrie 45th Anniversary revisits the transforming toy that became the starting point for many Valkyrie releases after its 1982 debut. This second anniversary item retains the familiar silhouette while expanding the head's movement and adding rotation to the thighs.

The head can move vertically as well as turn sideways. Redesigned thighs allow the legs to spread naturally in GERWALK mode, broadening the poses available through the stable transformation mechanism.

Fighter mode retains spring-deployed landing gear and adds a newly designed leg-locking mechanism. A clear canopy and the canopy cover used in Battroid mode can be swapped, while the gun pod fires its included runner-mounted missiles.

This pre-painted ABS and die-cast metal model measures approximately 250 mm long in Fighter mode and 225 mm tall in Battroid mode. It includes the canopy cover, gun pod, missiles, gun-pod mounting parts and stickers.
