Osamake: Romcom Where the Childhood Friend Won't Lose — Volume 4
A revolution for the childhood-friend heroines who have always been treated unfairly! The era of childhood friends being the losing heroine is over!
Over 800,000 copies in circulation! A ruthless race between a first love and a childhood friend! The original novels are published by Dengeki Bunko and the manga adaptation by the MF Comics Alive series. This cutting-edge romantic comedy by Shuichi Nimaru, illustrated by Ui Shigure, finally becomes a TV anime! Protagonist Sueharu Maru falls for his classmate Shirokusa Kachi, a beautiful high-school novelist, only to be crushed when he discovers she has a boyfriend. His childhood friend Kuroha Shida, who previously confessed her love, treats the depressed boy kindly, but the appeal of this story is that things do not develop so easily! The two heroines quietly battle over the protagonist. Then a younger colleague from his days as a child actor joins the battle, causing another upheaval!? This romantic comedy filled with clashing agendas began broadcasting in April 2021!
Each volume was announced with a wealth of first-production extras, including a Digipak newly illustrated by original character designer Ui Shigure, new fiction by original author Shuichi Nimaru and a special leaflet, making the release a treat for Osamake fans!
Story She secretly smiles only at me. Shirokusa Kachi is a high-school novelist who has won the Akutami Award! And she is beautiful! I, Sueharu Maru, am an ordinary high-school student, and I know she is out of my league! But I think she likes me — probably, no, definitely! ...Or so I thought... Kachi has a boyfriend!? As I sink into depression, my childhood friend Kuroha Shida — adorably petite, outgoing and caring, and inexplicably unafraid to declare that she loves me — tells me... "Let's take revenge." The resentment of a first love runs deeper than the sea — but this is never dark! Never a tangled mire! Revenge for a first love begins!
