Oshi no Ko Anime

The curtain rises on a new stage. The second television-anime season of the smash hit Oshi no Ko begins!

More than 16.5 million copies in circulation! The celebrated partnership of Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari depicts the entertainment world in Oshi no Ko, the hugely popular manga serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump. The television anime, first broadcast in April 2023, quickly became a major talking point. It generated numerous collaborations and tie-ins, won the grand prize at the Japan Anime Trend Awards 2023 and the annual grand prize in Net Buzzword 100, and earned many nominations and awards at international anime awards. It grew into a title that defined 2023. With manga circulation exceeding 16.5 million copies as of May 2024, this hit returned for a second television season beginning in July 2024.

Like the first season, the Blu-ray and DVD volumes originally offered lavish extras: Digipaks newly illustrated by character designer Kanna Hirayama, special booklets, OSHI NO KO Behind the Scenes videos exploring how the anime is made, and audio commentaries. The first volume additionally offered Understanding Tokyo Blade, a guidebook to the stage production Tokyo Blade. The second volume's application ticket covered the daytime event. First-production packaging and inserts are limited; their availability is not guaranteed for later stock.

The event was announced for February 2, 2025 at Tachikawa Stage Garden. That event has passed, and no valid application ticket or event access is guaranteed now.

Rehearsals begin for the stage adaptation of the popular manga Tokyo Blade. Surrounded by Lalalai Theater Company's actors, Kana makes a great leap forward. Akane recognizes Kana's talent while burning with intense rivalry. Amid actors filled with talent and enthusiasm, Aqua continues pursuing the truth behind Ai's death, using even his own acting to do so. Meanwhile, Ruby keeps following in her mother's footsteps as an idol...

This volume contains episodes 12, 13 and 14. Recurring extras comprise OSHI NO KO Behind the Scenes Ep 7; commentary for episode 12 with Takeo Otsuka, Yurie Igoma and Megumi Han; commentary for episode 14 with Takeo Otsuka, Ayane Sakura and Shizuka Ito; the creditless opening; and web previews for episodes 12, 13 and 14.

The original manga is Oshi no Ko by Aka Akasaka and Mengo Yokoyari, serialized in Shueisha's Weekly Young Jump.
