OVER THE SUN January 2024 Blu-ray Shiawase no Kiiroi Watashitachi

TBS Radio's hugely popular podcast, Jane Su and Mika Horii's OVER THE SUN, brings its event at LINE CUBE SHIBUYA, formerly Shibuya Public Hall, to Blu-ray. The January 2024 performances present Shiawase no Kiiroi Watashitachi, Our Happy Yellow Selves.

DAY 1, Talk, keeps the atmosphere of the usual studio as Su and Horii aim beyond the sun through approximately sixty minutes of conversation. In the program's own units, about thirty minutes equals sixty minutes. Their exchanges fill the venue with laughter, while heartfelt messages from mutual-aid members bring tears. The familiar guest's rendition of official theme song Kibo no Sunsu fills the hall.

DAY 2, Have Fun, takes place in the usual recording studio. After recording, Su sees the producer making a phone call and overhears the words program cancellation. Shocked, Su and Horii refuse to let it end and rush to keep the podcast alive. Beyond that struggle lies anything-goes, gleeful adult mischief.

Su and Horii are joined by Masafumi Akikawa, Mr. Maric, JESSICA and Ayuka Kishimoto. Bonus footage is a discussion about the performances with Su, Horii, director Ryo Oguri and writer Kishimoto, included on the DAY 2 disc. Bonuses and specifications may change.

The set comprises DAY 1 and DAY 2 Blu-rays, totaling 259minutes of main content plus approximately sixty minutes of extras, and a CD of Akikawa's Kibo no Sunsu. Japanese Linear PCM 2-channel stereo is provided, including DAY 2 secondary commentary by Su and Horii, without subtitles. Dedicated hard packaging, the special booklet and the 8cm rather than 12cm CD format were limited first-press features and are not guaranteed.
