Paradox Live Animation

Seize the future through music. In the near future, a new movement called Phantom Live emerges from a saturated hip-hop culture. Rappers use accessories containing a metal known as Phantometal, triggering a chemical reaction with their own DNA to create illusions linked to their emotions. Their spectacular performances enthral young audiences.

Four teams leading their respective musical genres—BAE, The Cat’s Whiskers, cozmez and Akanyatsura—receive invitations to the mysterious Paradox Live competition at the legendary CLUB paradox. Each team has its own reasons for entering, but an unimaginable scheme lies behind the event. A phantom stage battle swirling with light and darkness is about to begin.

This anime adaptation of the Paradox Live hip-hop multimedia project combines high-quality music with powerful live-performance scenes worth watching again. This standard Volume 1 contains episodes 1 and 2, credit-free opening and ending sequences, and three live movies: FLY HIGH!!! and BanG!!! by BAE, and Get it by cozmez. A cast audio commentary accompanies episode 1, CLUB paradox.
