This entirely original romance and mystery takes place in two worlds: one in which the husband died in an accident, and another in which the wife died. Discovering that a miracle lets their worlds overlap for three minutes a day, and only inside their room, the couple uses these fleeting moments together to overcome one ordeal after another, never knowing when their reunions will end. Ironically, this extraordinary life may also allow them to recover true love. After all the turmoil, will they choose to start again, or something else?

Kanta and Natsume Namikawa work at the same commercial-production company and seem to be the perfect couple, supporting each other at work and at home. Five years after they met and three years into their marriage, however, Natsume secretly feels stifled by Kanta's excessive devotion. Unaware of her doubts, he is devastated when a message from someone called Yamacchi appears on her phone, arranging a hotel meeting for a night when he will be away on a shoot.

When Natsume avoids their usual goodbye kiss the next morning, Kanta resolves to confront her. Before he can, she leaves home and dies in a traffic accident. That night, as he mourns in the room filled with their memories, the clock reaches 11:22 and a strange light fills the apartment. Natsume appears before him, alive, but insists that Kanta was the one who died. Their two worlds can overlap for just three minutes each day, and only inside that room. With no guarantee that these brief reunions will continue, they must uncover the truth behind both deaths and the suspected affair, reconsider their marriage and decide whether they can begin again.
