Parallel World Pharmacy Anime

This power—this knowledge—must be meant to save someone.

The serious pharmacy fantasy, whose cumulative series circulation exceeded 2.5 million copies at the time of the release announcement, becomes a television anime. This is Blu-ray volume 2 of Parallel World Pharmacy.

The original work is Liz Takayama's Isekai Yakkyoku, serialised on the novel-submission website Shosetsuka ni Naro and published under MF Books.

Kanji Yakutani was a pharmaceutical researcher in modern Japan. When he wakes, he finds he has been reincarnated as Farma de Medicis, the son of the prestigious de Medicis family of court pharmacists. Farma is appalled by medicine in this world, where incorrect treatments and drug mixtures abound alongside spells and charms that cannot be called medical care. Drawing on the modern pharmaceutical knowledge cultivated in his previous life, the exceptional powers of substance creation and substance deletion acquired in this new world, and divine arts available only to nobles, he confronts every kind of illness. To bring truly effective medicines to people everywhere, he opens the Parallel World Pharmacy. Extraordinary otherworldly powers meet modern pharmaceutical science: a fantasy of helping people and changing another world's medicine opens for business today.

This volume contains episodes 5–8. Regular supplements are television-commercial collections and cast audio commentaries for episodes 5 and 6 featuring Aki Toyosaki and Kaede Hondo. These are additional commentary tracks, separate from the main episodes' Japanese audio.

The first-press offer consisted of an illustrated outer case and a special booklet containing character profiles, stories, design settings and interviews. The exact-edition retailer marks those first-press items as no longer available; they are excluded from the current listing rather than promised as included.
