Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! Animation

If she is going to eat something, Melfiera wants it to taste delicious! The count’s daughter has a hobby nobody understands: cooking and eating the monsters that threaten human beings. Her unusual appetite has earned her a most unflattering reputation.

While attending a social gathering in search of a fiancé, she encounters a rampaging magical beast. As she recoils from the danger, Duke Galbraith appears: the man everyone fears as the bloodthirsty duke. His sword falls, the beast collapses, and his eyes shine gold. Melfiera catches her breath at his overwhelming strength and beauty, yet the monster blood trickling down his face draws her attention for a rather different reason.

A lady who turns monsters into delicious meals and a supposedly fearsome duke with a kind heart come together in this unusual gourmet fantasy filled with romance. The first part includes the opening six episodes, a teaser and main promotional video, and newly drawn artwork by the original character designer.

The enclosed booklet contains a newly written prequel about Melfiera’s research days. As the Marchalrayd domain prepares for winter, she receives welcome news from her father about fresh monster meat, while her stepmother Celia orders her to find a fiancé within a year or enter a convent. It is a glimpse of her life before this enthusiastic monster-food researcher meets her destined partner.
