Photon Blu-ray Set

Photon, the slapstick science-fiction OVA based on an original concept by Masaki Kajishima of Tenchi Muyo! fame, arrives on high-quality Blu-ray. On a planet increasingly consumed by desert, a boy named Photon sets out to find his childhood friend Aun after she runs away. His journey brings him together with the mysterious Keyne and draws them into extraordinary trouble.

In an age that might belong to the distant past or the far future, Photon lives on a desert planet filled with a strange energy called Aho. One day, Aun, the village chief’s granddaughter, leaves with the village treasure to chase someone she has fallen for at first sight. Asked by the chief to bring her back, Photon meets Keyne, and a misunderstanding leads the two to make a marriage pledge.

With Keyne’s help, he catches up with Aun and recovers the treasure. Aun, however, refuses to return to the village and throws Photon into the Valley of Treasures. What he discovers there is the spaceship that Keyne travelled in seven hundred years earlier.

This preservation set comes in a tall case with newly drawn sleeve artwork by the illustrator of the Photon novel adaptation, together with a special booklet.
