PinocchioP returns after roughly two and a half years with a fifth full album, LOVE. Straightforward, distorted and everyday love all find a place here. After often considering love on a broad scale, such as love for humanity, he turns to the forms it takes in daily life amid suffocating demands for correctness and growing social division.
The polished electronic sound of Zero develops further, stripping away excess to make the beats more distinct in a melodic yet solid record. Loveit explores affection for a favourite idol, while Ultimate Senpai examines awkward self-love. Rather than approving or rejecting feelings without a single right answer, PinocchioP sings about the love that undeniably exists.
Twelve tracks include a self-cover of 404, written for Colon, and Real ni Buttobasu from #Compass. LOVE remixes revisit Project Sekai song Sekai wa Mada Hajimatte Sura Inai and Aisarenakutemo Kimi ga Iru. PinocchioP also creates the cover illustration.
