Witness a remarkable crossover

Cyber Troopers Virtual-On, the legendary competitive battle-action game featuring giant robots called Virtuaroids, joins forces with A Certain Magical Index, one of Dengeki Bunko's leading novel series. Virtual-On's distinctive high-speed gameplay evolves further in Academy City, where science and magic coexist, creating exciting drama within a new shared world.

A new story by Kazuma Kamachi

The Story Mode scenario is completely newly written by Kazuma Kamachi, the original author of A Certain Magical Index. Its compelling drama continues from the 2016 crossover novel A Certain Magical Index × Cyber Troopers Virtual-On: A Certain Magical Virtual-On and is fully voiced throughout. Discover how Touma Kamijou, the distinctive Index characters and the Virtuaroids take part.

A fourth weapon takes battle into a new dimension

In addition to the three weapons traditionally carried by a Virtuaroid, this game introduces a fourth, the Voost Weapon. It amplifies and releases the abilities of the Index character piloting the machine, bringing that series' distinctive ability-based battles into a new dimension on Virtual-On's foundations.

The new Transition action and a points system further create battles different from earlier Virtual-On games.

A celebrated creative team

Hajime Katoki, the mecha designer throughout the series, renews the Virtuaroids with inventive designs and special colours tailored to their Index pilots. These are designs unique to this collaboration.

The in-game music is composed by Yuzo Koshiro, known for works including 7th Dragon. The theme song is created by Maiko Iuchi, familiar from the A Certain Magical Index television anime, and features dual vocals by Yuka Iguchi and Rina Sato.

Original Discipline 55 physical contents

This limited edition originally included the game, Chronicle 20 and the original soundtrack CD Cyber Troopers Virtual-On Official Sound Data 18.

Chronicle 20 covers more than twenty years of Virtual-On history in an extensive 500-page volume, comprehensively collecting product information, numerous visuals and developer comments from successive games.

The soundtrack CD collects Yuzo Koshiro's music used in A Certain Magical Virtual-On. The original reservation offer also identified a How to Play booklet.

This is a Used item; the presence and condition of original physical extras and reservation inserts depend on the individual copy.
