PlayStation 4 A Promise Under This Blue Sky – Refine – Limited Edition

That summer's blue sky, once again

“The promise we made that day still lives on this island.”

Story

On a remote island a little south of Honshu, a long flight of stone steps climbs from the foot of the island's many hills to a high plateau overlooking the town below and the sea. The school attended by the protagonist and his friends stands on that plateau.

However, the factory of the large company that accounted for most of the island's industry is due to withdraw the following year, and the number of students has gradually been declining.

On another of the island's hilltops stands a dormitory converted from the school's old building. As the number of boarders has dwindled, only the protagonist and the heroines now live there.

A transfer student inexplicably arrives at the dormitory at this unusual time of year. With the newcomer drawn into their lives, they spend lively, enjoyable days together, even as they sometimes clash.

A complete remake

A Promise Under This Blue Sky has been fully remade. This latest version renews the illustrations and in-game background music and introduces new features, including movement around maps rendered in pixel art.

Newly drawn artwork by Nekonyan

Original artist Nekonyan has created new artwork. The main heroines' visuals and event CG illustrations have been completely renewed. Together with updates to some backgrounds, the game now supports a 16:9 screen format.

New background music and individual heroine ending songs

Kotaro Fujii, who composed music for Sakura no Kumo Scarlet no Koi and Jewelry Hearts Academia, has newly created the in-game background music.

New ending songs have also been added for each heroine. The original announcement stated that further information about those songs would be revealed later.

Walk around the school and dormitory in pixel art

The pixel-art style used in the April Fools' project movie has been adopted in the main game. Freely walk around the school and Tsugumi Dormitory as you advance the story.

A newly produced opening movie

The theme song “allegretto – Sora to Kimi” performed by KOTOKO is retained, while the opening movie has been reassembled with newly drawn visuals.

The opening movie was published on Entergram's official YouTube channel ahead of the game's release.

Limited Edition physical contents

This edition was originally supplied with a setting-materials collection, an original soundtrack CD, a theme-song CD, an acrylic panel and an acrylic block set. As this is a Used copy, their presence and condition depend on the individual copy.
