PlayStation 4 Ar nosurge: Ode to an Unborn Star DX

A world where songs become magic and feelings become bonds

Ar nosurge is an RPG about love and bonds, with the survival of strong yet fragile lives at stake.

In a world where songs become magical power and the strength of feelings creates bonds, Ion and the other characters seek the truth behind the appearance of the Sharl: mysterious life forms that wield the power known as Song Magic.

Surge Concerto returns in high definition

Ar nosurge Plus, originally released for PlayStation Vita on October 2, 2014, returns as a high-definition remaster for newer hardware.

Ion, Casty and the other heroines' 3D models and movements are enhanced with detailed visuals. Story scenes and in-game movies are also improved, delivering fresh emotion from the world seven dimensions away with greater clarity.

Story

Ra Ciela, a planet that exists seven dimensions away, is approaching destruction as its sun reaches the end of its life.

To save her people, Ra Ciela's empress uses Song Magic and the spaceship Soleil to attempt migration to another planet. But trouble strikes, leaving the ship wandering through space.

Many years pass...

After people build towns and settle within Soleil, mysterious creatures called Sharl begin attacking them.

In response to this threat, humanity's will splits in two. The religious organization Genomirai seeks coexistence with the Sharl. The city-state of Felion fights them alongside people who possess lost technology and knowledge, including the protagonists Delta and Casty.

Experience the story from two perspectives

Play as the young man Delta or as the mechanical weapon Earthes. Experiencing the story from their different perspectives reveals many truths about the world.

Carry out missions, explore locations throughout Soleil and the inner worlds of Genometrics, and synthesize items. As your bonds with the heroines deepen, the story progresses.

Ion: Ionasal Kkll Preciel

Voiced by Ai Kakuma.

A girl said to know the principles that govern the world. No one knows where she is.

She remains gentle and shy, as well as clumsy and fond of making things. She continually gathers materials to build peculiar machines and tools.

Kanon: Kainol Kkll Preciel

Voiced by Nana Inoue.

She competed for the imperial throne on Ra Ciela, the planet where the story takes place. To win support as an imperial candidate, she continued to listen carefully to the people's voices.

Later, like Ion, her whereabouts became unknown.

Casty: Casty Rianoit

Voiced by Inori Minase.

She lives in Felion, a town where humans gather together. As an Ancient who wields Song Magic to turn feelings into power, she serves as a member of PLASMA.

On weekends, she also helps at Delta's diner as its self-proclaimed welcoming face.

Nay: Nei Afurasuku

Voiced by Maaya Uchida.

She lives in Felion and carries out charitable acts as “Nay of the Gale,” an elusive woman who appears to help whenever people are attacked by the Sharl.

Her energetic nature and refreshingly straightforward personality remain unchanged.

Alongside these performers, the cast includes Kosuke Miyoshi, Yumi Hara, MAKO and others who bring the adventure's characters to life.
