Three years after the previous game, Ryza has continued practising alchemy alone on her home island. A letter from a friend and a certain request prompt her to travel to the royal capital.

Reunions and new encounters await her there, followed by a major decision that draws ever closer.

The story of a youthful summer begins once again.

Ryza and her friends take on a great adventure to uncover the mysteries of ancient legends. The mysterious little creature Fi and appealing new characters also appear.

Setting out on a new adventure from the royal capital, Ryza and her companions aim to explore ruins.

Unravelling the mysteries of the legends connected to these ruins may reveal unexpected secrets.

Many ruins appear, each with its own appearance and mechanisms.

Ryza swims and jumps

Fields and dungeons, including the ruins, contain places that cannot be reached by ordinary means.

As her adventure progresses, Ryza learns a variety of actions, including swimming underwater and making use of ropes. Her adventure becomes more dynamic.

Gathering, synthesis and battle all evolve

New field actions, such as diving underwater and using ropes to move to distant places, lead to unexpected locations and the discovery of new ingredients for synthesis.

Synthesis and combat have also evolved to become easier to understand and more exhilarating.

Explore every corner of the expansive fields and dungeons, which are larger than those of the previous game.

Story

Three years have passed since the secret great adventure on Kurken Island.

Ryza, who remained alone on the island, receives a letter from a friend and a strange request. These prompt her to leave the island and visit the royal capital, Ashra-am Baird.

Little does she know that this marks the beginning of a new adventure pursuing the mysteries of the ruins whose legends are passed down in the capital.

System data from Atelier Ryza is required to obtain the special Old Look Costume Set through the save-data connection.
