An original story about connecting with others and growing stronger

This game's original story depicts people connecting and becoming stronger through Battle Spirits.

Prologue

One day five years ago, Toya Nijimiya, who lived in Gate City, was separated from his childhood friend Yu Shiratori when he transferred to another school.

Toya promised Yu that he would keep playing Battle Spirits after transferring, and they exchanged their key Spirits.

Five years later, Toya returns to Gate City and has a rematch with Yu. However, because he did not keep playing Battle Spirits at his new school, Yu defeats him overwhelmingly.

Determined to live up to Yu's expectations once more, Toya resolves to become stronger.
