Berserk joins the Warriors series

The acclaimed dark-fantasy manga Berserk, with more than 40 million copies in circulation at the time of this release, finally joins the Warriors series. The game faithfully recreates the original work’s dark, weighty world.

In a world of swords, magic and monsters, contemporary graphics portray Guts’ fierce life on the path toward revenge and the deadly battles he fights with his companions. The action unfolds as though you were controlling characters inside the world of Berserk itself.

One warrior against a thousand: slash-and-crush action

The Warriors series’ one-against-a-thousand action has been developed anew to suit Berserk’s world. Beyond the exhilaration of sending enemies flying, swing Guts’ enormous Dragonslayer sword, taller than he is, to cleave enemies in two and crush them in powerful combat.

Guts and his companions repeatedly face desperate situations surrounded by soldiers and monsters in the original story. Experience overwhelming destructive power that can overturn such a situation with a single swing.

Relive the original’s vast, dramatic story

The main mode spans much of the original manga, from the especially popular Golden Age Arc—also acclaimed in the 2012 animated films—to the latter part of the Millennium Falcon Arc, in which Guts gains irreplaceable companions while continuing his journey of revenge.

Progress through the game to experience this substantial story firsthand. Even players who have not read the manga can encounter the world of Berserk through the game.

Events between battles and major scenes use powerful footage from the animated films and sequences recreated with 3D models. In-game conversation events also depict relationships with Band of the Hawk members that the films did not explore deeply, presenting the story more dramatically.

Guts is not the only fighter

In addition to Guts, more playable characters become available as the story progresses. Members of the Band of the Hawk, dependable magic users and beings with extraordinary, inhuman power join the roster of popular characters from the original work.

Alongside Guts’ powerful slash-and-crush combat, enjoy distinctive fighting styles that express each character’s personality through action unique to Berserk’s world.

The anime’s voice cast

The main characters use the accomplished cast from the 2012–2013 animated films and the television anime that began in July 2016, drawing players further into Berserk’s world.

Guts is voiced by Hiroaki Iwanaga, Casca by Toa Yukinari, Isidro by Hiro Shimono and Griffith by Takahiro Sakurai.
