Action-game characters unite
An unknown, malevolent force called Lina threatens to destroy the vast multidimensional universe watched over by computers known as the Motes.
To overcome this desperate situation, the Motes summon heroes from various parallel worlds who may be able to defeat Lina.
Guided by a voice telling them to fight, the assembled heroes engage in one-on-one battles. Who will survive to the end, defeat Lina and become the Blade Stranger who protects the universe?
A crossover collaboration
This crossover is a collaboration between Studio Saizensen, which created acclaimed games such as Umihara Kawase and Code of Princess, and Nicalis, Inc., which worked with developers to produce titles including The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth and Cave Story+.
Characters from multiple action games enter the battle, crossing the boundaries between their original titles.
Fighters from Umihara Kawase, Code of Princess, Cave Story, Azure Striker Gunvolt and Shovel Knight face off against each other.
Dynamic battles with accessible controls
Retaining the elements of a hardcore fighting game, the controls are tuned to be easy for beginners so that a broad range of players can enjoy fighting games.
Combinations of four action buttons let you easily perform combos and special moves, delivering complex, dynamic combat.
Even fighting-game beginners can discover the genre's true appeal after playing just a few times.
