Three adventures unite

Take flight and settle the battle—three games come together as one. Thirty-three years after the Famicom release of MetaFight, the strongest, most exhilarating action returns!

The popular Blaster Master Zero series is developed and published by Inti Creates under licence from Chou Wakusei Senki MetaFight, the Famicom game released in 1988 by Sunsoft, a brand of Sun Corporation, and known internationally as Blaster Master.

This hybrid exploration-action game combines side-view maps, where you explore areas in the versatile combat vehicle SOPHIA III, with top-view maps, where you control the protagonist Jason and explore dungeons.

Its graphics build on the first Chou Wakusei Senki MetaFight, using an 8-bit pixel-art style inspired by the 2D games of the Famicom's heyday, with refinements optimized for modern consoles.

This physical Blaster Master Zero Trilogy: MetaFight Chronicle package brings together three games: Blaster Master Zero, originally released exclusively as a download in March 2017 as a Nintendo Switch launch title; its sequel Blaster Master Zero 2, released in March 2019; and the latest instalment, Blaster Master Zero 3, whose download release coincides with this collection.

Story scenes with character voices

As a feature exclusive to this collection, character voices have been added to the story. Its colourful cast—including the main characters Jason and Eve and the other pilots introduced in Blaster Master Zero 2—bring even more emotion to the adventure.

Blaster Master Zero and Blaster Master Zero 2 also receive voice acting, allowing players who have already experienced them to revisit memorable scenes with a fresh perspective.

Jason is voiced by Kensho Ono, Eve by Tamako Miyazaki and the SOPHIA III system by Nozomi Yamamoto. Gonbei and Tae are voiced by Taku Yashiro and Yurika Takagi respectively.

Shiori Izawa voices Kanna and Hideki Makino voices Kenwood. Stein is played by Taketora, and Tesset by Azusa Iwakura.

Shota Aoi voices Leibniz, Kaori Ishihara voices Elfie, and Satoshi Hino provides the narration.

All DLC from Blaster Master Zero and Blaster Master Zero 2 included

Blaster Master Zero and Blaster Master Zero 2 received numerous downloadable additions. This collection incorporates all of the DLC for both games.

The EX Players are crossover characters from other games. Their gameplay recreates aspects of their original games while adapting them to Blaster Master Zero, offering experiences that go beyond simply changing a character's appearance.

Blaster Master Zero includes the EX Players Gunvolt, Ekoro, Shantae and Shovel Knight.

Blaster Master Zero 2 includes the EX Players Copen and Empress, along with the Kanna Raising Simulator mini-game.
