Cotton BEEP

The original witch shooter returns after thirty years

Thirty years after Cotton’s birth, the original witch-themed shooting game reboots with a dramatic evolution.

BEEP’s first console game brings Cotton back with a completely refreshed appearance.

Behind its cute looks, Cotton is a very demanding shooting game. The standout Arrange Mode retains the original’s fun while adding plenty of new elements for lasting play.

This is more than a straightforward port: retro, yet more than retro. A new Cotton takes flight!

The original Cotton is reborn in style

Arrange Mode’s graphics have been newly drawn while preserving the original’s distinctive flavour.

Its soundtrack features newly recorded arrangements by a distinguished group of ten arrangers, and the appealing characters now talk throughout the game with full voice acting.

Arrange Mode is packed with new elements and a succession of exhilarating presentations.

Music by an outstanding creative team

The music includes arrangements and new compositions by Kimitaka Matsumae, Koichi Namiki, Shinji Hosoe, Hiroyuki Kawada, Hisayoshi Ogura Sound Image Production, Daisuke Matsumoto, Tetsuro Sato, Kenichi Arakawa and Kenichi Hirata.

Three game modes: aim for the high score

Original Mode recreates the X68000 version released in 1993, based on the original Cotton.

Arrange Mode adds a wealth of new elements, including graphics, background music, new magic and new actions.

A tense, thrilling Time Attack Mode is also included.

Compete against skilled shooting-game players for high scores in each mode through the online rankings.

A shooting game with plenty of challenge

New magic, score-boosting elements and a rebuilt game balance make the game even more enjoyable.

Even players who find shooting games difficult can enjoy the approachable Sweet Mode, while the Extremely Spicy Mode challenges shooters confident in their skills.

These options provide substantial challenge and long-lasting enjoyment.
