Dead Rising Capcom

72 hours in a city overrun by zombies

In Willamette, Colorado, a peaceful American town is suddenly overwhelmed by a vast number of zombies. Hearing the terrifying rumors, journalist Frank West arrives in a city that has become hell.

The helicopter coming to collect him will arrive in 72 hours. Can Frank uncover the truth behind the incident and escape the city alive before then?

Use anything you can get your hands on

The shopping mall where the game takes place is filled with objects. Beyond conventional weapons such as bats and guns, you can attack zombies with frying pans or dress up in costumes—almost anything goes.

You can also race through the mall in cars, on motorcycles or in convertibles. Your opponents are countless zombies, so put every usable object to work. Each area contains shops and facilities stocked with different products. Try out the things you can pick up and their many uses: that freedom is Dead Rising.

Extreme freedom

Face a zombie-filled hell crowded enough to fill the screen. Investigate the mystery behind the mass outbreak or help others; what you do is up to you. The series’ extraordinary freedom and exhilarating action began here.

Skills expand your options

Leveling up makes new skills available. Alongside attacks with all kinds of weapons, skills increase the ways you can fight, creating even more opportunities to run wild through this zombie paradise.

Psychopaths

Zombies are not Frank’s only enemies. Humans who have lost their reason in the extreme conditions of this zombie hell also attack him. Which are truly more frightening—zombies or people?

The original specifications list one player. This game is rated CERO Z and is restricted to purchasers aged 18 and over.
