Grow stronger with every death

Within the flow of time, the “nightmare memories”—the bugs—regenerate and bare their fangs once again. Everything is for the sake of the ultimate ending.

What is Death end re;Quest?

Resist 99% despair. Young people find themselves travelling through a world contaminated by bugs. One wrong step can mean instant death as they confront approaching mysteries and threats in this thrilling RPG.

The many hopeless conclusions known as Death Ends, written by Makoto Kedouin, have won strong support from players.

Brutal scenes with greater intensity

This instalment dramatically intensifies the series' depictions of brutality. Event scenes vividly depict characters bleeding and their bodies after death. Powerful sound effects of bones breaking, flesh tearing and necks twisting apart make the experience far more immediate.

An all-star cast in a completely new story

Popular characters from across the series join new faces in an entirely new story. Become the partner of cheerful, positive new protagonist Sayaka Hiwatari and work together to move the story forward. Discover how the world works and close in on the mastermind.

A roguelike RPG to play again and again

The otherworldly Strain Area takes the form of a 3D dungeon whose structure changes every time you enter. Terrain, enemies, traps and items all change. These unpredictable dungeons can lead to deaths you never expected.

Every Death End makes you stronger

More than one hundred situations can lead to a Death End. Enemies of many different appearances, mighty boss monsters and a variety of dungeon traps threaten Sayaka.

Each cause of death leads to an entirely different hopeless conclusion, conveyed through its own text and voices. Experiencing a new Death End also gradually strengthens Sayaka. This is a story of death and rebirth.
