Disgaea 7 brings a new entry to the outrageous strategy RPG series, which had sold a cumulative five million copies worldwide at the time of this game's original release.

A maximum level of 9,999 and damage exceeding 100 million are business as usual. Alongside the series' traditional features, new rule-breaking systems are packed into this entry.

There are 45 generic character types, the largest number in the series at the time of release.

A Japanese-style Netherworld

Set in the Japanese-inspired Netherworlds of Hinomoto, the game follows the outcast samurai Fuji and Pirilika, a girl who is an enthusiastic devotee of Hinomoto.

They rampage across these ruined Netherworlds under the banner of overthrowing the Oedo Shogunate, determined to recover Hinomoto from its invaders.

With bushido in your heart, cut down the spineless shogunate!

Jumbification — rampage beyond the stage

Characters become extraordinarily huge through Jumbification. Disgaea finally moves beyond the game board itself, delivering dynamic battles that take this rule-breaking strategy RPG outside the stage.

Item Reincarnation — even edible swords

Reincarnation is no longer limited to characters: items can reincarnate too.

Turn a sword into gum or slippers into a staff. Reincarnating through different item types lets you create weapons such as swords that can be eaten to restore health, or staffs that increase movement.

Online AI battles — aim to be number one in Japan's Netherworld

Ranked Battles introduce the series' first AI battle feature, letting you fight users around the country online.

Characters battle automatically according to the strategies you set with the Demonic Intelligence editing system.

Build your strategy around the battle stage's characteristics and your opponent's behavior patterns, then configure the best actions.

The strategy you refine through trial and error will lead your team to victory. Take that carefully developed strategy and challenge other Netherworlds!
