Original physical edition and service status
This Limited Edition contains no game disc. Dragon's Dogma Online's official online service ended on December 5, 2019. This is a physical collectible edition; its original online game and expired codes cannot be used through the closed official service.
Original game description
An adventure to be remembered forever, beginning online.
Dragon's Dogma Online transformed Dragon's Dogma, an action game set in an open world, into a full-fledged online game. This installment brought online open-world action to the series.
It retained the joy of adventuring in a rich fantasy world and the exhilarating action, while letting players share adventures with companions on the new continent of Lestania.
Communication with companions and cooperative action added further strategic depth. Players could also develop Pawns—the distinctive companions of the series—to enjoy adventuring alone.
The game was online-only, with multiplayer network play. Ordinary quests supported one to four simultaneous participants; some content supported up to eight.
Limited Edition original contents
- The Art of Dragon's Dogma Online artbook, approximately 136 × 190 mm, originally announced with more than 100 pages.
- An original soundtrack CD.
- A package-registration coupon, originally required for early access and participation in various campaigns.
No game disc was included. At release, the game client could be downloaded free from PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus membership was not required.
At the time of the original announcement, further bonus details were to be announced following adjustments based on the closed beta test. Completeness of the artbook, CD and other physical accessories in a Used copy is not guaranteed.
