PlayStation 4 Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective

A one-night chase that begins with death

Use the powers of the dead to investigate the mystery of your own death.

Ghost Trick, the masterpiece mystery game released in 2010 and created by Shu Takumi, the mind behind the Ace Attorney series, makes its long-awaited return.

This masterpiece about life and memory begins with death. It returns with more beautiful high-resolution graphics and new features that make it even more comfortable to play.

A tale of life and memory comes back to life

Tonight, on the outskirts of the city, I awaken as a soul, robbed of both my life and my memories.

Why was I killed? Who killed me? And... who was I...?

My soul will disappear tomorrow morning. A lonely chase lasting just one night begins now!

More beautiful and easier to play

The graphics support higher resolutions and higher frame rates to suit current systems.

The user interface has also been optimized for comfortable play on a single screen.

The game supports nine languages, with Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and Korean newly added.

A collection of illustrations and background music

A new collection feature lets you gather a variety of illustrations and background music as you progress through the game.

You can view the illustrations and listen to the music you have collected at any time through the in-game menu.

Enjoy concept art, some of it revealed for the first time, and newly arranged versions of all 37 music tracks!

The arrangements are by Yasumasa Kitagawa, known for The Great Ace Attorney. You can switch between the original and arranged background music, comparing them to suit your mood.

Moving Ghost Puzzles and Challenges

The popular Ghost Puzzles from the smartphone version return.

Swap the moving pieces around to complete puzzles that recreate scenes from the game!

New Challenges also ask you to meet a variety of conditions. Take on these extra goals, such as clearing each chapter or preventing any deaths in specified sections!
