Enjoy learning and improving, even if you have never played Go!
This Go game includes a Go Classroom for learning the rules and terminology, together with Go Matches ranging from an introductory level where even beginners can compete on equal terms to a second-dan level for advanced players.
There is also a full range of support features for when you need help. Even without prior knowledge of Go, you can enjoy learning and become stronger.
Learn in a Go classroom that helps anyone aim for first dan
There are 2,855 problems in total. Study both fundamentals and their applications thoroughly through two complementary formats: explanations and problems.
The classroom helps not only newcomers learning Go for the first time, but also beginners and intermediate players seeking to improve further. Acquire a broad range of skills and aim for first dan!
Put what you have learned to the test in Go Matches
Choose an opponent suited to your ability, from an introductory level for beginners to a challenging second-dan level.
Useful support features include Hints, which show moves considered by the computer, and a Standard Opening Display for learning how to play the opening.
A variety of features for learning and enjoying Go
The game includes two-player matches, saving and loading game records, entering game records, a real-time territory balance display, and spoken announcements of the positions of newly placed stones. These and many other features help both newcomers and dan-ranked players learn and enjoy Go.
