PlayStation 4 I Am Setsuna

Weave a life together with the girl chosen as a sacrifice

Since ancient times, an island has held sacrificial rituals to keep the threat of monsters at bay. Yet attacks begin increasing before the next ritual year arrives. Taking the situation seriously, the people decide to offer a sacrifice urgently to appease the monsters.

The person chosen is Setsuna, an eighteen-year-old girl. Bearing this harsh fate, she sets out with her escort for the distant land where the ritual will take place...

Fight enemies with Active Time Battle

The battle system uses Active Time Battle, or ATB, a hallmark of Square's role-playing games. Time flows in real time during battle, and characters can act when their ATB gauges fill as time passes. Depending on the relative positions of enemies and characters, an attack can catch and damage several opponents.

Unleash combination techniques with your party

Combination techniques can be activated when several party members are ready to act. They require particular techniques to be equipped, but their effects are exceptionally powerful. Different character combinations produce different techniques, and combinations performed by three party members deliver overwhelming power.

Extend your techniques with the Momentum System

The Momentum System lets you enhance a technique's effects by pressing a button at the right moment during battle. When the Momentum gauge is full, press the button in time with the technique's activation to trigger various additional effects. Identify the input timing for each technique and perform it with style!

The manual and packaging are in Japanese. The source notes compatibility with US systems and that other languages may be included; Japanese remains the catalogue language specified for this batch.
