Race ahead and make the most of your youth

Yu Tono, the protagonist, is a second-year student at Kazami Academy. He is right in the middle of adolescence, at the age when youth should be in full bloom. But...

“Youth? What's that? I'm busy with my part-time jobs.”

He is an uncompromising realist who devotes his youth to work. He handles his studies skilfully and spends each day working part-time to earn money.

Unable to stand by and watch, his childhood friend Hibiki and his classmate Riri, who looks up to him as her mentor, try to reform him by getting him to join a club.

Hibiki recommends the Action Club, nicknamed the “Acti Club”, a lively group of girls whose motto is: “Make more of your school youth and have fun taking action!”

Riri recommends the Volunteer Club, nicknamed the “Negati Club”, a group of serious-minded girls whose motto is: “Spend your precious youth making the world a better place.”

Both clubs keep persistently inviting Yu.

“I'm not interested in either. I don't need youth in the first place.”

Regardless of Yu's wishes, the girls drag him into their activities day after day. How on earth did things turn out this way?

“Isn't it obvious?”

“Prepare yourself, Senpai. It's about time you started enjoying your youth too!”

What kind of youth awaits Yu Tono?
